Venice Woodland New Homes for Sale | Venice FL | David Barr Broker Associate

I recently stopped by the site of what will be Venice Woodland, an upscale new home community in Venice FL.

The builder, Meritage Homes, doesn't have much if any information on it's website as of this writing.  They say they will be building their "Signature" series homes here.  That means there will likely be larger, upscale homes on 60 to 70 foot wide home sites, probably with 3 car garages.

This is quite a large piece of land, and it has a lot of lakes and wooded preserve, a perfect setting for a new home community.  I estimate about 300 homes will be built here.  There will also be a nice list of amenities, including a resort style pool and clubhouse with fitness center, dog park, pickle ball and tennis, and walking trails throughout.

Venice Woodland is east of I-75, on Border Road east of Jacaranda Blvd.  If you're concerned about the east of I-75 location, it's only 7 miles to either Nokomis Beach or Venice Beach.
