They are not checking to make sure all your outlets are in the right place and that the plumbing doesn't leak.
To be sure, your builder will have a pre-closing walk through with you, or with me as your buyer's agent, if you can't be present to close. Your Sarasota or Venice new construction home will have a warranty, during which time you can have any structural defects repaired.
