Venice FL New Home Things to Consider

Buying a Venice FL new home is a popular option in our real estate market.  There's a lot that can go into the decision process you may not have considered. I've been working with new home buyers this week to define their preferences. One issue is exposure .  Do you want your lanai and pool area to face east or west?  East means morning sun, west means afternoon setting sun.  Will the lanai protect from the sun shining directly inside the home and increasing utility costs? Another issue is view from the rear of the house and your lanai.  Do you prefer a preserve view, or a lake view?  Most builders charge premiums of up to $60,000 for a lake or water view, above the price of the home.   Garage space is another thing to consider. In many Venice FL new home communities you have the option of a 2 or 3 car garage.  In Florida we do not have basements, so will you need a 3 car garage for extra storage? A new entrance serving a new phase of home construction is getting ready to open at Milano.
